One of my clients emailed me to tell me about a great barn sale this weekend at Ekster Antiques. Owners Caroline Verschoor and Jon-Paul Saunier hold sales events in their historic 8,000 square-foot former dairy barn several times a year, and this weekend is one of them. Pure, natural, recycled, reclaimed; those elements – combined with the Scandinavian aesthetic – define the Ekster style. On their website Caroline says “I love a mix of old and new – of antiques and modern. I believe that one piece makes a large statement. And I only sell things that I love.” It shows, I love everything they’re selling!
