Decorating is a process and I know I have said it a thousand times but you really can’t do everything at once. After buying or building your dream home you pick paint colors and try to make your furniture work. The last thing on the decorating punch list is usually the details. Drapes and accessories are the best way finish off a room and they are definitely worth the wait. Last week Yi’s (our favorite upholstery people in all the land) did a banquette and drapery install for one our favorite clients and dear friend. Installation was Wednesday and the Christmas House Tour was Friday so you can imagine how stressed everyone was wondering if everything would be ready in time for the big day. Yi’s pulled it off as usual, and I am so happy the way everything turned out!
