Eventually I will paint the tops to match the base but they don’t bother me as much in person as they do in this picture. |
New bedside tables plus a new painting above the Mr’s dresser from my Mama equals a finished (for now) Master Bedroom |

I am a wife, Mom, and an Interior Designer. I love my job, and I love the fact that I get to work with one of my best friends. My Mom and I are partners in our Washington DC based design firm, Wilson Boland Design. In January 2010, we opened an Interior Design Studio in downtown Bethesda, which has evolved just as much as our business!
I started Haute Indoor Couture in the spring of 2011 to share portfolio pictures, inspiring ideas, and fellow designers with our clients and friends. I live for Interior Design and I love sharing my passion and enthusiasm with my readers. Most of the content you will find here is interior design, architecture, fashion, or canine related.

Hi I just found your blog and it is really great. I was wondering if you could share where you got both the lamp on the dresser and the painting (the artist)? Everything looks so great above the pine dresser.
Thank you.
Cali

Hi Cali,
The lamp is a Visual Comfort lamp and the painting is a reproduction painting and the artists name looks like scribbles, its not actually on canvas so I don't know who the artist is. Sorry I couldn't be more help!

Beautiful bedroom! Can you share where you got the rug?
Thanks.

Hi Mallori, I am happy to share- it's the Karastan antelope rug. You can do it wall to wall or as an area rug which I had done here in our bedroom.
