A grouping of four upholstered club chairs is the perfect alternative to a sofa and two chairs. Personally I love this look, and while it may not be practical for a family room, for a formal living room, it totally works.

Over 10 years ago, I had a friend who was a wonderful designer. Sadly he is no longer with us. He never had the opportunity to break through to achieve huge fame, but he had a special talent! He saw things with a very unique eye. His favorite arrangement for a conversation area was four club chairs with a table in the middle! It's simply a natural! Thanks for bringing it to my mind once more.
