Furnishing The Patio

Elizabeth Boland · Feb 5, 2015 ·

I know with cold snowy winter weather the last thing on your mind is dining al fresco, but this is seriously one of the best times of year to purchase outdoor furniture. The other week I was able to score an amazing deal on Restoration Hardware’s Carmel Table which they had marked down to a price I thought was a joke. As it turns out it was a glitch and less than 8 hours after I placed my order the sale price went back up to normal sale levels. Yesterday we had a sneak peak of spring with temperatures in the 50’s, which got me even more excited for my new Carmel table that is being delivered this weekend! I swear after weather in the teens getting a day in the mid 50’s felt like spring break. It was amazing, and also a reminder that although winter feels like it will last forever, Spring is around the corner!

About Elizabeth Boland

I am a wife, Mom, and an Interior Designer. I love my job, and I love the fact that I get to work with one of my best friends. My Mom and I are partners in our Washington DC based design firm, Wilson Boland Design. In January 2010, we opened an Interior Design Studio in downtown Bethesda, which has evolved just as much as our business!

I started Haute Indoor Couture in the spring of 2011 to share portfolio pictures, inspiring ideas, and fellow designers with our clients and friends. I live for Interior Design and I love sharing my passion and enthusiasm with my readers. Most of the content you will find here is interior design, architecture, fashion, or canine related.

Oh my goodness! This all looks so dreamy – especially given that it's going to be in the teens tonight. Brrr.

It's always thrilling to score a big deal…..regardless if it is an error that they have to stand behind or not!!! Even better. I'm glad RH stood behind the error on their part.
We are looking forward to enjoying our outside terrace when the weather warms up!!
