Last week I got to tag along while the Mr. was showing a client investment properties. I love going into nasty run down homes with good bones. Imagining all the possibilities, the different fixtures I’d use, finding hardwood under the disgusting wall to wall carpet; I was in heaven. It’s the next best thing to house hunting. I am literally living vicariously through the Mr’s client since buying a home is not in our future anytime soon. While none of the places we viewed were nearly as grand as these abandoned spaces, could you imagine how fun it would be to restore one of these properties??
