Great Mudroom’s
Last Thursday we had freezing temps and 6 inches of snow fall on the ground… flash forward one week to today and it’s all melted, and my entire yard is a mud pit. Don’t get me wrong, I am soo happy for warmer weather, but I can’t keep up with the dog towel laundry lately. All I have to say is thank the Lord for the fact that we have a mudroom. I never thought we would be in a house now, let alone one that has a mudroom so I shouldn’t really be complaining about the weather. Our faux wood mudroom floor has held up so well with all the mud and water being tracked in over the past month. I am so happy with our decision to turn that random room into the most useful room (other than the kitchen of course) in the house. If you do not have an entire room to devote to a mudroom, a small wall or corner of your foyer can do the trick. Here are some great mudroom solutions I have seen lately, some of which are as simple as purchasing a piece of furniture from Home Goods or Ikea and hanging a few hooks on the wall.
