Mad Cow
Lately I have been going crazy for metallic hides, so much so that if we had a house I’d probably be tempted to upholster a whole room with metallic hide walls! Insane I know, but I can’t get enough of this look. I partially think it’s because it reminds me of Aspen. After living in Montana for 4 years and Colorado for 2 the whole Western lifestyle has definitely played a big role in influencing my design aesthetic. Not that Missoula Montana should by any means be ones inspiration for interior decor – yowza … but you get my drift. To me metallic hides are the perfect mix of the rugged Rocky Mountains paired with a little Manhattan glam, so naturally when I saw these puppies on Joss and Main the other week I snatched them right up!
Part of me is thinking if we are having a girl maybe she will be just like her Mama and pine for one of these fabulous rugs? Maybe I should just go ahead and get one for the nursery now just in case. I mean some of them are 75% off, that’s gotta be a sign.
Not that I couldn’t use a few of those glamorous rugs if the Mr. and I are having a boy, but for something a little more masculine I’ve been eyeing some of these bad boys.
