Yesterday Mom and I had the privilege of attending a lecture from the Prince of Chintz himself, Mario Buatta. The lecture and book signing were hosted by Cowtan & Tout in honor of Mario’s new book “Mario Buatta, Fifty Years of American Interior Decoration“. The event was held at the Hay Adams Hotel across from the White House which boasted amazing views, almost as stunning as Buatta’s interiors. I didn’t want to be that girl who asked to take a thousand pictures with him until I got one flattering enough that I only looked 6 months pregnant instead of oh hey I am about to burst/I look like a mini cooper… so please excuse the stalkerish photo I took of the man, but I had to document the most wonderful afternoon!
